Sad but true….

So is it true that we only use 10% of our brains and that we have 90% worth of untapped potential just waiting to be unleashed (preferably in terms of cool powers such as telekinesis or mind blasting)?

Unfortunately the answer is no.
Our brains have always been fully utilized – though not all at once – and this 10% is a myth that can be traced back to a comment made by an American psychologist, William James back in the early 20th century.
And it makes sense. According to the article, if we are only using 10% of our brains, then any efforts to remove any parts of our “unused” brains should not affect us at all. Even during sleep, our brains remain active at a eer, sleep mode.
Oh and the Mythbusters explored this and their verdict? Closer to 35% of usage.

What if these two titans lock horns?

Who will win?

My vote goes to….Shepard!! :oD

Here are some ways to get people to talk about you:

  1. Be loud and obnoxious
  2. Take fashion tips from Lady Gaga
  3. Do something outrageous

But by getting people to talk about you, does that mean they are interested to know more about you?

Maybe.

Or you can do this.

Basically ask questions and show genuine interest.

Remember that a stimulating conversation goes both ways – you don’t have to do all the talking to be a good conversationalist (unless you sound like Liam Neeson). Talk to much and people can and will lose interest.

Of course it might not work all the time – some people just don’t like to talk about themselves – but hey, it’s better than walking around with a lobster on your head.

Interested = interesting (?)

Would really be awkward if it turns out he sucked at this….

Rock on!

“winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is”

Vince Lombardi

Not exactly known for their technical abilities so our new manager has his work cut out for him.

On a positive note, tiki taka – to my limited understanding – is a simple way of playing football.

Pass and move.

Who to pass to and where to move to.

Much like the way the old Liverpool team played.

Maybe he should just get them to watch the old videos.

Can Rodgers teach these guys tiki taka?

Is there anything that I want, or (maybe) have to do before I die?

Need to give this some thought.
